International cooperation

"NO RWM" is actively engaged in international cooperation with foreign operating institutions, regulatory bodies and international organizations in the field of radioactive waste management, environmental safety and monitoring, science and technology exchange and other areas. Representative of "NO RWM" are frequent participants and contributors to numerous expert and work groups of International Atomic Energy Agency.

The scope of international cooperation spans the following areas:

• Legislative, regulatory, financial support of national systems of radioactive waste management;
• Design, construction, operation and closure of final isolation sites of radioactive waste;
• Bilateral scientifical and technological exchange;
• Licensing issues and approaches;
• Public relations, participation in international forums and conferences on radioactive waste management
